artepupp started as a humble in-home grooming service in August 2024, founder Kelsey carted her tools, tub, table, dryer and supplies from appointment to appointment in the back of her jeep.
With winter on the horizon, she purchased the artepupp’s first legitimate salon the so-called “Van Gogh”- our mobile grooming van.
After a successful winter of mobile grooming, friends and former colleagues Kim and Jarred joined the artepupp team. Meanwhile, the opportunity to build a DREAM salon presented itself and the build-out began in summer 2025.
In August 2025, after months of planning and preparing artepupp’s in-house salon was nearly ready to open. Caitlin started as artepupp’s Administrator and we started organizing both the processes and physical space. August 22 marked the beginning of a very long weekend, including soccer tournaments, sister’s wedding and 2 separate trips to the All American Grooming Show in Schaumberg, IL
August 25, 2025 we officially opened our doors and long-time friend and colleague, Becky, started accepting grooming appointments
